"Honoring Americas Fallen"
"empowering Americas veterans"
Our veterans are the blood and sweat of America’s freedom. Our country was forged on their sacrifice and call to duty.
Veterans deserve all the respect and honor our nation can give them, and it is the goal at Project Roll Call to create a Clearing House of organizational assets to benefit our veterans, assist them in their transitions into civilian life, and to protect them and their futures.
If you are a Veteran, or know someone that is, and you are looking for support. Please review the organizations below. They are fully vetted and offer a wide array of help.
To enhance the well-being of America's veterans, their families, our military, and our communities by our devotion to mutual helpfulness. The American Legion's vision statement is "The American Legion: Veterans Strengthening America." The American Legion's value principles are as follows:
PsychArmor® is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that offers critical Paralyzed Veterans of America, a congressionally chartered veterans service organization founded in 1946, has developed a unique expertise on a wide variety of issues involving the special needs of our members – veterans of the armed forces who have experienced spinal cord injury or dysfunction.

Quality health care for our members,
Research and education addressing spinal cord injury and dysfunction,

Civil rights and opportunities that maximize the independence of our members
PsychArmor® is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that offers critical resources to Americans so they can effectively engage with and support military service members, Veterans, and their families. Because fewer than 7% of Americans serve or have served in uniform, most civilians are unfamiliar with military culture. As a result, members of the military and Veteran community often feel misunderstood and reluctant to seek support. Our mission is to bridge that civilian-military gap by educating a nation.
At PsychArmor, we provide online training videos delivered by national subject matter experts who are fiercely committed to educating the civilian community about military culture – at no cost to the learner. Additionally, our Support Center provides follow-up coaching to reinforce the knowledge conveyed in our courses. Education is the most effective way to initiate conversations and empowers us to collectively support service members, Veterans, and their families so they can thrive in their real life and online communities.

Wheelchairs for Warriors provides custom wheelchairs to injured veterans and first responders that are engineered to each recipient's individual needs and capabilities, allowing for mobility and independence at the highest level possible.
Before Wheelchairs for Warriors came along, many of our recipients were distraught depressed and feeling isolated. Many were unable to get around their own homes, maneuver the great outdoors, go to the parks or beaches with their wives and families, or play an adaptive sport. The burden was also shared by their caretakers having to assist them with their heavy, bulky, inadequate wheelchairs. Thanks to our supporters and charitable donations, they are able to enjoy more independence and a better quality of life.

Dogs Helping Heroes is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping restore lost freedom and peace of mind to wounded veterans, first responders, and Gold Star Families by gifting specially trained and certified assistance dogs. Our inspiration is to improve the daily lives of those we can help.
Every stage of our process — from obtaining our dogs to placement with a hero — involves a vast network of support.
Healing4Heroes™ helps our military personnel and veterans move forward after being wounded both physically and/or mentally with the assistance of service animals. Healing4Heroes™ also saves the lives of unwanted shelter dogs by rescuing them and training them to become fully trained, A.D.A. complaint service animals. These dogs allow our soldiers to move forward and live more productive lives by allowing them to deal more effectively with their traumas and giving them the confidence and security to start to heal. At the same time, our veterans give these dogs a purpose in life and the chance to be loved and part of a family. The bond that develops between veteran and dog is one of a kind and each is saving the other. The dogs and training are provided free of charge to each veteran and cost our organization about $6000. Each veteran is directly involved in the training of their service dog, cementing that bond and starting the path of healing for vet and pet. Your donations make this possible!
Warrior Bonfire Program provides opportunities that improve the lives of enemy combat-wounded veterans—Purple Heart recipients—on their lifelong journey of recovery and healing. We create activity-based, small group retreats that foster healing, build support communities, and transform lives. We place warriors, wounded in combat with others of a similar experience, in a stress-free, safe and secure settings designed to help our Purple Hearts become better individuals, discover their post-service purpose, and encourage building strong family and community relationships. We conclude each retreat with an official American Flag Retirement Ceremony which helps our veterans to move past the stage of survivors' guilt by giving them the opportunity to name, honor and memorialize their fallen brothers and sisters. Ashes from each Bonfire are collected and combined with the next Bonfire. Fallen heroes are never forgotten.

Operation: Transition Outside the Wire's mission is to systematically and purposefully transition service men and women from their active duty "inside the wire" mindset to civilian life.
We help them overcome challenges acclimating to day to day life in a proactive manner. We receive Veterans on our working ranch (and their spouse and children if desired) just as they return from combat and instantly start working on their service connects.
From day one and throughout their 6-month stay on the ranch, they are provided housing, employment, transitional support services, food, transportation, community, etc. to set them up for success with their civilian life.
We are patriotic citizens committed to serving our wounded, injured and ill Veterans. We support Veterans and their families by building relationships and identifying and supporting immediate needs and interests. We are dedicated to promoting public awareness of the many sacrifices made by our Armed Forces.
